OMG! Finally, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I've been wanting to see this ever since I heard it was announced a while ago. I love Tasteless and Artosis so much. To me they are the best casting duo for SC2 out there. They have funny yet deep analytical casting that brings a lot of people to appreciate Starcraft.

Oh and thank you so much to Jeff Alejos for making this documentary. It's an inspiration for e-sports fans like myself.

would have been fantastic if the first ~18 minutes was cut. tastosis: the circlejerk up till then. excited for part 2!

First 18 minutes needed to be edited down to 4 or 5 minutes... WAY TOO LONG... I love Tastosis, but it got super boring after 9 minutes or so.... need to fix that bro.

This is embarrassingly bad.

Check the video description "Sons of Starcraft aims to uncover the story behind the professional gaming careers of Nick 'Tasteless' Plott and Dan 'Artosis' Stemkoski, two esports commentators who moved to South Korea to provide English commentary on StarCraft: Brood War broadcasts."

It's a documentary, *about them*.... FFS people..

Nice to see this finally come out. These guys have been a staple of the community ever since, and this spotlight on their careers is certainly well deserved. Looking forward to the next episode.

It seems like no one here has seen an actual documentary. I for one loved it. Good to see the people behind the face of E-sports. Can't wait for the next one!

So excited to finally watch this! Tasteless and Artosis have been my two favorite casters since the first pro SC2 match I ever watched, and it's great to see something like this that acknowledges and expands on their importance in the scene. Can't wait for the next episode!

wow nice back story. So Day9 created tastosis!

Day9 won the games in the tourny against his bro then against artosis freeing them up for an opportunity to talk about upcoming matches.

and so the archon was born...

(and rolling on floor laughing at Dan's comments on Squirtle vs MVP backstage)

That is a disgrace to gaming and StarCraft. What a shitty documentary.

"That is a disgrace to gaming and StarCraft. What a shitty documentary."

Unfortunately I'd have to agree, especially after seeing what Travis B. was able to do with The Smash Bros documentary with only 9k in donations... This is just a bunch of interviews clumsily mashed together with sappy music and random clips in the background. There is no organization, no direction, and no overarching theme; nor did I learn anything new about Tastosis. Artosis came off as kind of annoying in some of the clips as he was following Tasteless around babbling.

Can't say I expected much in any case...Hopefully it gets better...

I waited so long for this and i am happy that it is finally done. But please remove this terrible backgroundmusic.

What devil rode you to put this awfull noise in there? I am sorry for my rude language, but i cant stand it any longer.

As someone who wasn't around for Brood War or the Wings of Liberty, I thought this was great. I don't know that much about the history of Starcraft and seeing the story behind Tasteless and Artosis is pretty awesome. Throwing in Day9, JP, etc. adds a lot more than you think.

People who are complaining about this need to gtfo. It looks great, crisp video on this video player, very good quality, informative, entertaining, and revealing. I'm not really sure what would be missing from this if that was a possibility. Oh, and I forgot that there's still another what, 3 or 4 parts to this? One episode a week is what I'm guessing. I can't wait.
